Pharmacy Accuracy Checking Technician (ACT)

For the position of of the Pharmacy A.C.T. the candidate must be registered with GPHC.

Responsibilities:

  • To carry out final checking of dispensed items according to the accuracy checking Standard Operating Procedures and provide assistance to pharmacy personnel when necessary.
  • To supervise and perform duties associated with the control and management of pharmacy systems and prescription dispensing.
  • To closely supervise the work of Pharmacy Dispensary Team to ensure they are able to perform their duties efficiently and correctly.
  • To maintain and analyse a record/portfolio of errors detected in preparation for re-accreditation every two years.
