On Saturday 10th September 2022 Physiotherapist Nadia Kopec, Founder of The Mobility Physio, and Harjinder Singh, CEO of Bedfordshire Pharmacy and Health Clinic, Smarta Healthcare, walked the 50-kilometre Thames Path Challenge. The pair raised an impressive £1000 to be split between two local charities, Carers in Bedfordshire and the Tibbs Dementia Foundation.
This was the dynamic duo’s second charity challenge, having cycled the 100km London 2 Brighton challenge together in 2019. Saturday’s 50km Thames Path Challenge followed London’s iconic river from Fulham to Runnymede.
“It was an honour to complete this challenge with Nadia, to show our support for the incredible work of Tibbs Dementia Foundation and Carers in Bedfordshire. Nadia and I both agree that at a time when the cost of living is going up, local charities like this are especially deserving of support for their work at the grassroots level. They are fantastic at reaching individuals within our community that really need their help. The walk itself was very challenging, but we were very thankful that weather was perfect for us on the day.”Smarta Healthcare CEO and co-founder, Harjinder Singh
“The amazing support Harjinder and I received for the Thames Path Challenge is really inspiring, and means we can help the work of Carers in Bedfordshire and Tibbs Dementia Foundation. They both do so much for our community here in Bedford, we’re over the moon to have hit our fundraising target for them! I’d like to give a huge thank you to everyone who donated.”The Mobility Physio Founder, Nadia Kopec
