Smarta Healthcare and Mobility Physio take on the Thames Path Challenge to support Two Great Local Charities

On 10th September 2022 Physiotherapist Nadia Kopec, Founder of The Mobility Physio, and Harjinder Singh, CEO of Bedfordshire Pharmacy and Health Clinic, Smarta Healthcare, will walk 50 kilometres from Fulham to Runnymede, to raise money to support the work of Carers in Bedfordshire and the Tibbs Dementia Foundation. They hope to raise £800 collectively to split equally between the two causes.

Bedford-based Tibbs Dementia Foundation charity supports people living with dementia and their families, through a range of cognitively and physically stimulating activities, both on and offline.

Carers in Bedfordshire supports unpaid carers of all ages across the county. The organisation aims to help unpaid carers feel recognised, respected and supported in their role.

This will be the dynamic duo’s second charity challenge, having cycled the 100km London 2 Brighton challenge together in 2019.

The 50km Thames Path Challenge follows London’s iconic river from Fulham to Runnymede, and the team are looking forward to the hike.

“I can’t wait for my second charity challenge with Nadia! Our chosen charities have such a positive impact on the Bedford community, it really is an honour to represent them and show our support for what they do.”

Smarta Healthcare CEO and co-founder, Harjinder Singh

“It’s a pleasure to be teaming up with Harjinder once more, to take on the Thames Path Challenge for our chosen charities. I think we make a great team and I’m looking forward to the challenge.”
